    Default Cold Air Intake Question

So I made a list when I first bought my truck and started checking things off as I got them done. Realizing my list is almost complete which excites me I realized I bypassed one of the mods at the top of my list... the Cold Air Intake. My question is which system do you guys recommend? I have been considering the Volant but once I saw the prices on it, might have to go a different direction. Was curious if you guys had any input on a good CAI that isn't quite as expensive as the Volant?

There are plenty of used Volants out there for a good price. Some love them, others state there are quality issues. Seems like a few members are using an S&B CAI (Cold Air Intake) with good results.

It's cheaper than a Volant at $300, and IMO looks better too.

Otherwise, if you're mostly interested in improving fuel economy but don't need the looks and sound, PM Dez and try out his SABM. I noticed about 2mpg with that kit, and Prices are WAY lower than a CAI.

even with the SABM, the kit lets out a good amount of noise

I think for the price, the SABM is one of my favorite mods so far!! No need for an expensive CAI when you can support Dez right!?

well Dez sounds like you have put out quite the product haha. Does anyone have a video of how this SADM sounds by any chance? I'm interested in doing it but looking for a little better sounds out of the air intake than the stock one produces. Any videos or input would be greatly appreciated!
