    tools 1st Gen Tundra Suspension

So at 145,000 Miles and some fun off road and jumping railroad tracks, as well as my rear bushing squeak, I am having all 4 shocks replaced Tuesday the 28th. I know the shocks are still good but my front bushings are warn and they yell at me on sharp inclines, and the squeak squeak in the back has driven me up the wall! I will have lifetime warranty on all 4 now so it's all good

I always use the 2 dealerships here against each other. One wanted 1300 for the work plus tax......the other said 800....a 15mile drive to save 500 dollars? I say YES!

  2. Thanks Gutz thanked for this post

For shock's $1,300 are you crazy LOL..I payed like under $200 in labor for the front's. I did the rear shock's myself it's a peice of cake. I am running the 5100 series shocks and love them plus that lifetime warrenty is nice too.

I received my rear shocks from 4 wheel part's and shock warhouse dot com for the fronts

I went with the original TRD off road bilsteins. I could have for sure done the back myself but I am going to let the guys over at Toyota handle it this time

So the back is done......and the front is waiting on shocks lol.....they got the wrong ones sent to them and mine are hard to find in this country so they are being shipped from the east coast so I get to get the front done Tuesday. The back feels different already, mot importantly the bushing squeak is gone! I did get an additional 10% off the entire job because of the delay though.
