    Default Headlight Question

Looking to replace my lights. Any reason these would not fit a 2011? Is there any difference in wiring or mounting between 09 and 11? Thanks guys.

Yeah, you won't have the elevation motors/or control so you'll have to adjust them manually. Other than that....they should fit.

just a heads up, full replacements will never be as high quality as oem ones, they will have seal problems and about 90% of them will get condensation on the insides. i wish i would have known this before i dropped over 300 bucks on a set that had projectors and ccfl halos. i am much happier with what i have now which is my stock headlights that i customized myself with a black headlight mod and i installed a set of aac halos into so it looks like audi lights or range rover lights and my halos were only 160 and i have a remote that makes them do tricks

My problem is that I tinted my headlights. While my aux lights provide enough light and when I am not on the main roads I can use my light bar, I do not have enough light to drive normally at night. I have considered an HID upgrade. My only concern is whether or not HID will cause an inspection issue should I ever need one in another state. I also like the halo idea as well, just not keen on cracking my headlights open and screwing them up any more than I already have. This is the reason I enjoy this site. Thanks for the information guys.

my truck has had 2 inspections with the hids in and i never get any questions about them. and you tinted your headlights dude, they would tag that quicker than hids so if they didn't say anything about those i highly doubt they are gonna say anything about hids

Aftermarket headlights look cheap on our trucks. Paint mod and halos are the way to go IMO

i bought a set of aftermarket for mine and they look horrible...wound up doing the BHLM and i am currently running 6k HIDS. I wouldnt think that the HIDS would give you issues since they make new cars with them from the factory. They are legal in every state as far as I know. They only think that might cause an issue is if you put 55w in your headlights...they are illegal for on road use in TN. If you want bright I would suggest 6k or 8k any other color temp wont put out as much light

Unless you want true "fog" lights.....then go 3 or 4k (yellow) in the fogs.
