My new Tundra has XM and in the last couple of days I've found what I think is a fatal flaw in antenna location. The antenna being on the front right of the roof seems to cause frequent interruption of signal on roads with a lot of trees that overhang the road. I'll know for sure come winter, but when I installed satellite in my old Tacoma I located the antenna at the center rear of the roof I never lost signal unless in a tunnel or under a large overhang. With the Tundra I can guarantee signal loss if when going down the road I see large trees overhanging the right side of the road. These same roads I traveled daily with the Tacoma and never lost signal. With the Tundra I never lose signal in open areas, so it has to be antenna location that's hosing things.
