Can the 2005 Sequoia factory rear disc brake components be used as a direct replacement for the 2005 Tundra rear drum brake components without having to change out the Master cylinder, proportioning and ABS units? Anybody done this to improve braking on the PU?

This kit will replace drums with late model 4 Runner disc setup.

Good luck!!
I'm pretty sure they will retrofit since most components are shared across the 3 platforms the Tundra, Sequoia and Land Cruiser and their Lexus twins.
I hope you mean change the rear brakes from the knuckle outward, you may need longer bolts to bolt on, as I'm doing something similar a direct swap on my Celica GT with drum brakes to disc brakes from the same year Celica GTS and they do require longer bolts to fit through the knuckle .
Not sure if it affects your ABS, but on this end there is no need to change the master cylinder, but then again it is a smaller car with no ABS. Hope this helps somewhat.
TLDR,
Retrofit yes,
Master Cylinder and ABS unit needs more research
