Tundra may be immobilized
Hi Prof. I own a 2010 Crew Max. 5.7 litre. I’ve just recently installed a new battery. The command start acted up once since I installed the new battery. It missed on the first try but automatically retried and started on the second attempt. The reason I had the battery changed was that the truck seemed sluggish when starting almost as if the battery was weak. Yesterday the lights on my side view mirrors were flashing and there is a clunking sound coming from under the hood. The truck won’t start and it looks like the vehicle immobilization function has kicked in. Any recommendations?

Re: Tundra may be immobilized
Sounds like a trip to the dealer is the best course of action.

Re: Tundra may be immobilized
have you checked if your alternator is working optimally? they could also be a problem with the key starter, have an electrician check it out
