    Default Speaker questions

Alright, so I have a 2006 Tundra. I want to upgrade the door speakers and add some bass. I have 2 12's from years back and unfortunetly those do not fit. I want something that is more functional and fits the truck better. I am selling my 12's and keeping my Kenwood amp for whatever else I get. I've been looking around at what other's have done. I have seen the custom speakers for both under the seats (8") and in between the seats (10"). I'll post both links below to get ya'lls inputs. Has anyone done either of these or created their own? Just looking around for ideas right now.

I want to start with the door speakers first thing. What speakers have y'all put in that you find you like the best?

Here is the 8" for under the seats: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002PK...975204-8138313

Here is the 10" for between front seats: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-vDZ8KIj...tealthbox.html

Thanks in advance, I don't know much about this, but want to learn!

Sounds like you want to change your door speakers and add a subwoofer. I don't know how much of this you want to do yourself or if you want to have a professional installation done. I notice your are from Georgia. There is a guy from Georgia that make Tundra sub enclosures, and also does installations. I have one of his enclosures and I can tell you that they are top quality. His name is Tech12 volt. http://www.tech12volts.com/

On my 2003 I had two of these installed under the front 2 seats. http://www.amazon.com/Audio-RS80-800.../dp/B008RBZL6W

They won't have the same frequency response as your 12's but I liked them. I liked sitting on top of the sub really added to the effect. I liked that I didn't have to lose underseat storage and didn't have to mod the console. I brought power in through the firewall and ran the wiring under the center console.

    Good luck!
