Default Constant power to cigarette/aux plugs.

Just a question to anyone that might know the easiest way to do it.....

Is there a mod to make the cigarette/aux plugs hot constant with having to run a new wire to a battery? I would like to do this but I don't want to have to run a new wire

I'm sure there are people out there that want to charge a phone/GPS/ipod/iphone/whatever with the truck off and not have to have a key in it...

If there is a mod or DIY I can't find it I jut didn't know if there was an easier way..

Don't know of any DIY threads for this, I'm sure the mods know and will chime in if there is one. I have done this a few times before on different toyota models, basically the only way I've found is to run new wires. You don't necessarily have to run all the way to the battery, but on some models there is a heavier wire that supplies power to the under-dash fuse box, I've tapped into that wire before with no issues. If you decide to choose this route, make sure to run an inline fuse so you don't cause any meltdowns if theres an overload.

Trace the wire back to the time delay relay then bypass it. The relay must be close by. (or what ever controls the power)

I think the one in the console is constant
    Jumper of that one
Just be careful to not overload the circuit

Other than that run a new hot wire

I have a 2018 Toyota tundra with the same issue but now I have constant power at the two front outlets without cutting or running new wires under dash board or removing console panels, that works for most of the cars with the same problem tundra models including Tocoma, this is what I have done.
Open the fuse and relay box in a tundra is located close to the battery, at the back side of the cover is a map with the location of all of them, you have to differential between fuses and relays, fuses are small with color red, green, blue and yellow with a number at the top. relays are a little bigger blue purple and brown. which we need to pull out is blue named (p.Outlet.1) if you you want to know that you pulled out a correct one turn on your car and plug something like GPS or cellphone charger, if is not power in those outlets you remove the right one. turn of your car. the blue relay that you just removed it has for legs 2 silver or chrome color and two copper you have to find the way to bridge the copper ones you can use many way to connect them together like a piece of wire. put back the relay in the same spot you will have constant power even when the car is turned off at the main front outlets. I believed the same procedure can be done with your radio or similar device which one I haven done yet but I will with the radio, thanks for reading this comment I hopped it will help you
