I had a desert kangaroo rat chew through both knock sensor wires on my 2000 Tundra which sit on top of the block. I talked to the dealer and they quoted me some crazy cost to replace the entire harness. I said forget that and removed the entire intake manifold to expose the knock sensors. They were chewed right down to the resin on top of each sensor so I chipped away the resin to expose enough wire so I could solder the chewed off wire back to the sensor. All was good.

P0751 is the shift solenoid and P2147 is fuel injector group A so it sounds like the rats chewed through a few wires. I would find the damage then see if you can match up the wires and solder them back together.

By the way, knock sensors rarely go bad. Back away from that dealer!!

Skim through this thread on tundra solutions this guys got some different codes but it will show you where the knock sensors are. I suspect your rat or rats feasted on the harness under the intake manifold.

Thanks for reply guys. The knock sensor wires are now fixed.

Truck turned back on like normal drove down the road all the lights came back on

    2007 toyota tundra single cab 5.7 4x4

    180k for the miles

Says i have a p2714 and p0751. Both are under my understanding transmission solenoid codes. Wont shift out of 3 rd gear with 4 low check engine light and traction control lights still on. Dealer seems to think trans is not worth fixing. I want to open it up replace bad solenoids and go from there. What do you guys think

So all these issues came up at the same time originally? How much googling have you done? Maybe the rats set up camp at a few locations.

If they all popped up at the same time well then i smell a rat! PM TRDJoe here on the site and see if he can help out with maybe a wire diagram of the shift solenoid.
