I am experiencing a Metallic Squeal while I was driving. It is a high-pitched noise and it stops when I push the break. This began nearly one month ago. What would be the reason for this?

    Thank you.

Possibly your brakes are worn out and make constant contact with the rotor, highly suggest you get your brakes inspected as the issue may be on the inner side of the rotor and not the outside... That or your rotor is completely worn out and its grinding your brake pads...

I agree, have your brakes checked.

Is it so? I have stopped using my car because of this matter. I didn't even have the space to take it for repair. I'll check them immediately.

Anyway many thanks blackdemon and tonyspin.

I went through my brakes that were doing the same thing about a year ago and found the calipers weren’t sliding on the pins. I removed all the pins, cleaned and greased them then put them back. Problem solved.

I checked them. My brother also arrived yesterday. So we both checked them. Inside of the tires was a mess with dirt. We removed them and washed properly. As you said rotors also worn out. I had to replace brake pads also. This happened because of my reckless. I must keep in mind to take care about my vehicle more than this.

    Thank you all.

rotors and pads are the easiest to miss since they're labor intensive in removing the wheels and inspecting both sides of the rotor.. If you got it as a gift odds are they were well worn before you got the vehicle. All you have to do is upkeep now. This is a great source for information and very knowledgeable people that can help you out...

Yeh. I second that. I was searching for a place to ask some issues like this because I do not have time to spend time in shops. Really thankful for the forum members. I managed to resolve this issue. Thanks again.
