Dropped the truck off Monday. I was expecting my truck to be done today and they are saying there is some serious rubbing issues. I ordered a -12 offset for my rims and BP says you can run a 15.50, which my toyos are 14.50

WTH? They shot a pic to BP so they can figure out what's going on. I'm glad I'm the first BP kit put on by the shop. They said next time they put one of these on, it'll be more like 1000 bucks, not 600 lol. But big ups to Off-road concepts in San Antonio for hooking me up.

Dez would you happen to know any reasoning for tire rods rubbing?

Well if anything, without enough off set or too much negative off set I would imagine the tires would rub real bad on the steering arm knuckles at the spindles.

Yeah I'll let the shop and BP figure it out. BP told me a -12 offset and tires up to 15.50

You're in good hands, just think if you were sitting on your driveway in a sea of tools, with your truck in pieces, at the end of your rope then you discovering this. [yike]

Well after much running back and forth today, it turns out that I have the first BP kit that is not -12 offset compatible. So the shop has washers on my truck until the wheel adapters come in(of course I can't drive it yet). But BP was gracious enough to provide me with free wheel adapters. Thumbs up to Eric and Bryan for dealing with my uneasiness with the whole matter. Anyways here's what she looks like for now. I knew I shouldve put the clazzios in before I got the kit on.

Looks great!

If the wheel adapters are two piece make sure that shop uses a lot of loctite. I almost had a very bad accident when one of mine separated on the freeway. Luckily I knew right away what was happening and pulled over just in time.
