Ok, I am super stoked!!! Love, love, love the tires!!! :D I got the tires from discount tire that is located about 50 miles from my town. I wanted to deal with someone local in case I had issues because I didn't want to have to ship them back and forth! I have heard some horror stories about people getting tires from the internet. Grand total out the door with tax, mounting and balancing and hazard warranty (because we know my luck with tires!!) was $1375.

They handle great in the rain! It was pouring down rain today and I had a bit of a drive back to town so fortunatly I got to try them out! I have some modding to do so they don't rub, had to take the very front mud flaps off, and have to do some adjustments to the mudflaps (behind the wheels). It raised the truck up about another 2" or so...I almost cracked my knee trying to get into it the first time. It's so weird how used to things you get...lol.

Thanks everyone! It's amazing what a set of tires will do! I wanted to get new tires when I got rims, but couldn't afford it and couldn't see wasting good tires. So glad I was able to get them now. :)

I am going to need new tires in the next 6 months, and I typically go with something very average....from Kumho....but you've really got me thinking now! I love the looks of them on your truck. Of course, you also have my favorite Tundra color!

Thanks Ginger! Well, in about 6 months or so I should be able to give you a better report on them if your still interested! :)

Nice setup and good choice that shows off the ride well. Why wait 6 months for updates...give us an update
after you have been riding them for 1 or 2 months.

After seeing those nittos on your truck as many times as I have come back to look at them, I am wondering if they would make my factory alloys look less crappy...Great choice again!

I have lots of plans but little $$. A guy can dream though! I am pretty sure that this truck would make me go broke even if I won the lottery today. I just keep seeing stuff that I "NEED" to have. My personal accountant (wife) apparently does not see those things as being needed as much as other luxury items such as, say food for the kids, or rent. I don't know why she just does not understand!!

Thanks JB! I will definitly give updates as I time goes by. Going on a trip this weekend so we will see how that goes. Casey, I totally understand, this truck does break me...fortunatly I am the accountant so I can "slip" it by. hehehehe :D

Oh, I forgot, I do have one update for you all. I went to a jeep club meeting on Sunday that is about 25 minute drive away from home. I was driving back on the highway and my TPMS light came on! Needless to say I was a little frusterated as I had just gotten the tires put on the day before. So I immediatly pulled over and my husband hopped out to check them and told me they looked fine. I told him that he had to check the pressure in them, because the last flat I had they looked "fine" but I actually only had 20lbs in one of the tires. So I pulled up about a half mile to a much safer spot and hopped out and checked my air pressure and found that one tire was indeed down to 20lbs!! So we drove back to the town we just came from and filled the tire up to 56lbs. We were trying to figure out where the leak was. Of course in my mind I am thanking my lucky stars I bought the road hazard warranty because that is just my luck!! Anyways, my husband figured out that it was leaking through the valve stem and the core had been broke off. So we were able to make it back home on the air.

So Monday I called the manager of Discount Tire in Pasco and explained the situation. He apologized and told me that if I could make it back to Pasco (an hour and fifteen minute drive away) he had a new TPMS sensor he would be happy to replace. I am going through Pasco on Friday for my trip, but wanted it fixed sooner (I have an interview on Thursday that is 45 minutes away and didn't want any worries). So he said I could fix it here in Yakima and then when we came through on Friday he would reimburse me. So we made an appointment with Toyota.

Now, my truck is just barely over the mileage for the warranty, but I have had tons of issues with my dealer in the past. So they were bending over backwards to make me happy and they "backed my miles up" and fixed the TPMS sensor under warranty as well as did the recall work (pedal and floormat). So we called the manager back at Discount Tire and told him that it was taken care of and we didn't get charged, but he said he still felt really bad about it and wanted to make it right so when we passed through on Friday to stop in and he would either refund my money on installation (mounting and balancing) or give us a discount on my husbands tires.

I thought that was great service from the tire shop because they didn't have to take that extra step!!! So anyone in the Tri-City area should definitly give them the business! They are really reasonable on tires as well. :D

I was pleasantly surprised with how much better the factory alloys look when wrapped in more aggressive rubber when I put the new tires on mine last summer. It makes it bearable to not spend the cash on new rims for a while now for me at least.

LOL, yea I couldn't help getting the wheels once I got it leveled, and it just kept going from there. I wanted to get tires when I got wheels, but couldn't afford them! :) Glad I could finally swing it! :D
